We at Temple of Judah Ministries are “Ambassadors of Reconciliation”. Remaining true to that spirit, our church believes II Corinthians 5:17-19 which says, “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s trespasses against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation…” Therefore, we believe that: As believers in the ultimate sacrifice of Christ Jesus, who died for our sins, we are reconciled unto God through Him. We have therefore been given the mandate, by God, to likewise reconcile others to Christ.
"Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's children shall bow down before thee. Judah is a lion's whelp; From the prey, my son, you have gone up He couches, he lies down as a lion, And as a lion, who dares rouse him up? The scepter shall not depart from Judah, Nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes, And to him shall be the obedience of the peoples."
THOU art Judah...thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies. ~ Genesis 49:8
Temple of Judah Ministries is called to evangelize the world for Jesus Christ; to equip every believer to become true Ambassadors of Reconciliation; and to engage those social problems that challenge the communities we have been called to serve.
A community of individuals, each actively seeking to make Christ’s example of God’s love for every person real in our world through study, worship, service and giving to:
Widows| Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause. Isaiah 1:17
Orphans | You shall not mistreat any widow or fatherless child. If you do mistreat them, and they cry out to me, I will surely hear their cry, and my wrath will burn, and I will kill you with the sword, and your wives shall become widows and your children fatherless. Exodus 22:22-24
Incarcerated| Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body. Hebrews 13:3
Poor| For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore, I command you, ‘You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.’ Deuteronomy 15:11
Sick| Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. James 5:13-15
